Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

have been paying child support since 2004 child is 20 know and not going to college. the grandparent who has custody wants back pay from 1992 to 2004. she did not ask for this when we went to court in 2004 can she ask for it know?

The grand parent can ask for the moon, but the Court will not reward someone who sits on his or her rights for 18 years.
