Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Pension Garnishment

I was involuntarily retired from my company of 25 years. A previous QDRO gave my ex-wife $600 per month of my pension. I was left with $1300. She now has a court order to garnish my portion to the tune of $800 per month for child support, which would leave me with $500. I have been unemployed for 2 years: my ex-wife has a $80,000 a year job (not counting her monthly pension), and has vast investment and interest income.

My question: Is there a maximum percentage cap to the pension garnishment amount permitted in this situation? I cannot live on $500 a month.
