percent of income for child support

My wife is suing me for divorce and wants me to pay way more than the

percent of my income that the state of NJ requires- what is the percent

of my income that I have to pay, according to the state of NJ- I have one

11 year old child at my wife's home, and one in college.

There is not a fixed percentage. Instead, there are official "Child support guidelines" in the Court rules (updated periodically). You will pay based upon the number of children, your income and taxes, her income and taxes, child care costs needed for work, health insurance premium for the children, number of overnight visits, and additional factors.
