Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Phone visitation

I have a court order stating that my

ex husband can call to speak with

our children for 15 mins every

thursday between 6 and 7pm. I had

informed him that we would be on

vacation for 10 days and that he

would not be able to speak to them

for 1 thurs. Because of this, he has

filed a complaint claiming I am in

contempt of the court order because

of this. Is the judge likely to fine me

for having missed 1 telephone

conversation?

Re: Phone visitation

As Mr. Moore said, you never know. You may want an attorney to be next to you. It shouldn't cost too much for just one court apperance to handle this.

My initial consultations are always free and I have offices in Toms River and New Brunswick. Call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss your case.
