Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Can someone plase tell me if when DYFS (Division of Youth and Familiy Services) opens a file and investigates your family, can they legally force you to take a drug test? This question is merely a matter of principle. Thank you for any answers you can give me. - Marlene G.

If they believe your child may be at danger of risk of harm, they can seek a court order requiring you to take a drug test and undergo counseling.
