poa and will

is there any way of getting a will redone and getting a POA for a senior family member that does not want her husband to recieve any thing

Yes- but the wife must be committed to doing it, and not be doing it only to satisfy a child. The wife, although senior, must be of sound mind. She does not need the husband's permission to change her Will or give a POA to a child. Although the child can set up the meeting, contact the lawyer and drive the parent (wife) to the meeting with the lawyer, the parent (wife) will be the client.
