Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

My psa states my ex gets our child on his days off but lately he's been working overtime on his days off and he gets him to be with a sitter and also he's telling me he's off a specific day that's not a scheduled day off and he picks him up from school and takes him to someone eise to watch. Can I go pick up my son from wherever he drops him off when he goes to work whether it's overtime or not? What's my recourse while waiting for the hearing regarding a change in our custody agreement

If he is not going to be with children and you feel insecure about the person they are with you can pick them up.
