Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
My question is similar to the one on http://www.lawguru.com/legal-questions/nebraska-family-divorce-custody-adoption/child-custody-american-citizen-indian-86138544/a.
Similar situation. The concern is about child custody of the US born child. Will I be able to get sole custody? What if the court gives visitation rights to the other parent or joint custody?

If you are the child's mother and raising the child in New Jersey, you should apply for custody here in the New Jersey court.
