Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
Two Questions:
I) 36 yrs old Son is disabled and receives SSI (Supplemental Security Income).. His parents claimed him in their tax-returns as a dependent. So they could get more money in tax-return refund and could use that money to support him.. Is there something wrong in it legally?
II) Son's wife wants divorce. Since his (son's) only source of income is SSI.. Will judge order his (son's) parents to pay for child-support for his (son's) 2 children.?
Please advise.. Thank you..
