Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

I have recently found out that my exboyfriend is not my child's biological father, he says I lied to him and he's going to sue me for child support payments he has made in the pass and that it will be doubled. I honestly had no clue that he wasn't the biological father. I'm putting paperwork in so that our court ordered childsupport can stop. At this point I don't know what else I can do or how to prepare for him suing me.

I live in New Jersey and he lives in North Carolina. My son is 6. And they have no bond with one another. He has signed the birth certificate. We've went to court before but only for joint custody and parenting time.He showed up for the first hearing but not for nothing after that, so I was awarded sole custody.

Can you tell me what I should expect?
