Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
I recieved an Affidavit of consent/surrender of natural father to step parent adoption. In the papers it states that "my child support arrears are to be removed to the extent arrears then remain upon the date of the anticipated final order of adoption to be entered in this matter." I am having trouble understanding what this means.

He is trying to get out of paying the arrears of child support. You need a divorce lawyer to assist you. Give me a call, make an appointment to come see me, and I will go over this with you, and give you some advice.
