Relinquish My parental rights

Is it true in the State of NJ, if a parent (father) reqlinquishes his parental rights, he is no longer responsible for child support. I know I would still have to pay any rears owed.

Yes, relinquishing parental rights also relinquishes your rights for financial support. The arrears will be enforceable though.
