Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

trying to relocate from nj to mo

I want to relocate from NJ to MO. NJ is too expensive and will like to provide more for my 9yr old son. His father and I never married and never went to court. We have an agreement. Every other weekend and except for the month of July, where we switch roles. How difficult it will be to relocate?

Basicly, you will be permitted to move by the Court, once you explain the economic reason for your proposed move to Missouri.

Call me if you like.

You will need either his father's consent, or a Court order allowing you to move. You have to show good reasons for the move, but this is usually not too hard to show.

Could be tough without an attorney. Even with an attorney, it won't be 100%. I suggest you call an attorney to discuss this.
