Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
Relocating Out of State with Child
Id like to move 1 state away with my 2 yr old. I have full physical & legal custody. Her father asked for visitation, he was granted supervised. Hes almost $5G in arrears & still nickling & diming thru probation. My monthly expenses would be $400/mo less. Hes never been there for her before.
I have searched the 'net for affordable, decent locations in NJ. The decent sections are above my means. When searching by affordability, I found what I need to give my child a decent upbringing.
Before setting this visitation up, the baby will get to meet the other parent; and then splitting them up and asking to move, I dont want to confuse the baby. Id like to move before anyone gets attached. Hes never been there before, she wont miss a thing. I cant rely on support and must relocate to be able to provide stability single-handedly.
Can I file a motion to do this? Can you please email me the appropriate form(s) to submit for this? Your help and guidance will be gratefully appreciated. I urgently need a direction. My email is [email protected]. Thank you in advance.
