Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
relocating out of state
My husband & I are having marital problems. We live in NJ I want to move to Georgia with our son & my daughter. We live in a very bad neighborhood. I have told him over & over again that I want to get my kids out of this enviorment
because I am not use to this kind of living. I have never lived in this kind of area and I don't want my children growing up in this area. I don't let my son go out side, my daughter stays in her room.

If he does not consent to your move, you have to file a motion. I suggest you see an attorney before filing anything.

What do you want?
do you want a divorce? a good lawyer can help.
do you want to make your husband change his mind? no lawyer can help with that.
Re: relocating out of state
You must get Court permission to relocate to another State. You sound like you have valid reasons, but this is the type of matter that should only be done with legal representation.
