Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
I am remarried and my wife has 3 children 18, 20 and 22. Am I required to put my paycheck into supporting my wife's family? I've been doing this for the past 5 years while she saved approx 100,000 in interest. I feel that it's not fair to me or my children (24 and 27). My wife states that it's "our" money and I need to continue to put it into our joint account.

Wow. It sounds like she is just demanding money from you. No, you are not required by law to put your paycheck into a joint account.
I think you need to talk to an attorney before you make a move. She will obviously be angry when the money stops going into an account where she can get it.
I need more information to be able to help you. Do her 3 children live with you? Do your two children live with you? Do any of these kids put in any money toward rent, groceries, anything? Does she work and where does her paycheck go?
And what do you want out of this?
Give me a call, make an appointment to come see me, and let's get moving on this for you.
There is NO COST to you for the telephone call, or for the first meeting at my office.

Your question and any response does NOT create an attorney-client relationship between you and this law firm. The exact details of your situation and things that you have not mentioned in your question can completely change the answer to your question. You can not rely upon what I have written, because I do not have all of the formation that I need to advise you, I only have the very small amount of information that you put into your question. For me to give you any legal advice, I would need for you to hire me to be your lawyer, and then we would need to discuss this in detail and go over the documents. To get legal advice that you can rely on and use, please contact me directly. I would be happy to assist you.
