Rescinding a restraining order

I have a restraining order on my boyfriend. He is dying of cancer and I would like to drop it. What do I need to do? Do I have to prepare a motion?

Just go to the court and explain to them what you want to do. You will probably have to go in front of a judge so that he or she can question you. You must be prepared to say that you are no longer scared of him at all and thus, you no longer need it.
