Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
I am a resident of NJ neither the mother nor the child resided in NJ, they've always lived in PA. At the court hearing held today in NJ the mother was awarded 94.00 per week based on false information provided to the court. Despite being caught in one lie after the other the judge still denied my appeal, even after I requested a postponement to speak with a lawyer. I filed for another court date based on additional income information and also requested a hearing on joint custody. Is it to late to hire an attorney and if not how could one help with my case?

Not too late, but I would hurry. The attorney needs to file a motion to reconsider. The attorney needs to hold the system accountable. Its the main thing that we do. Even when I am in court, I see crazy things happen and I sometimes have to ask the court to rewrite the order 3 times. If I wasn't there, my client would have suffered for many years by having to live with a bad orer.
With regard to joint custody, I would need more info as to exactly what you are looking for. Call me anytime at 732/773/2768 to discuss.
