responding to a cross-motion regarding support
what is the procedure to respond to a cross-motion by affidavit? can this be as simple as a notorizedd letter to the court in response with copy to plantiffs attorney?

You absolutely need a lawyer's help.
Please find a lawyer who handles divorce (you have indicated this is a divorce case), and do what it takes to hire that attorney.

I agree with Mr. Davies. You should, at the very least, consult with an attorney. You are in a case where the other side has one and you have questions about basic procedure. Not a good combination.

You respond by certified statement or affidavit attested to by a notary. You apparently are out of your league and need an attorney.
