Whos responsible for household bills ?
I already filed for divorce and he has basicly moved in with his gf. He had been paying all the household bills till recently he gave me the cable to pay,ive been paying it but he shut off the phone..I take care of my sons 17 and 19 ,ones a senior in school the other is unemployed so ive been paying his bills.STBX makes about 25000 more then me a year, this does not include the rental income he gets one lump some a year of 4000,i signed over all the income tax that was around 2000. I pay for the things my kids need, homecoming ,pictures,school clothes, lunches ,gas money, drs visits and all the extras that pop up,i pay my own car payment, the cable my credit cards and food and household needs. Can stbx just do this and whats to stop him from shutting off electric?

If you have filed for a divorce you should have an attorney and he or she should know what to do.
Your husband is require to maintain the status quo until the court can decide your case.
That means that he must continue to pay those bills he normally pays.

It sounds like you need to get an Order from the Court requiring him to pay support for you and your children. I would suggest that you either file an application for custody and child support or a Complaint for Divorce and a motion for temporary support. However, you need to consider the facts and whether the current contributions that he is making will be more or less than the support you will get.
