Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
Restraining Order
My son has a restraining order against him by an ex-girlfriend. He has abided by it. She continues to call and harass him and now has had him arrested for violation of this restraining order. What are his options? Order was issued in the town of Somers Point and made permanent in mid-June. My husband and I are trying to obtain items that were paid for by us from said ex-girlfriend through legal means (letter of intent was sent) and feel this is a retaliation against him even though he is not involved. Please advise!

Re: Restraining Order
Your attorney should communicate with the prosecutor's office to provide a full picture of the context in which she has filed a complaint against your son.
