Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Restraining orders

Can I protect my current girlfriend along with myself on a final restraining order I will seek against my ex, with whom I have a child. There have been a number of acts of criminal mischief at my current girlfriends home,we are fearful for her safety as well as that of her daughter ad their home, threats and harrassment have also occurred. This issue has been going on for the last 12 months. I have had 4 prior tros, a consent order and a parenting plan, all of which my ex has either ignored or attempted to circumvent. She is currently on probation for violating the first tro I had when she assaulted me the first time.

Re: Restraining orders

Yes, you can. However, I suggest you get an attorney for the hearing. I always suggest this, but especially in your case. If you have 4 TROs, the judge is going to look at you wierd and suspect you of abusing the process.
