Can i return to the U.S for the Divorce matter ?

I'm on F1 in the U.S and a Canadian permanet Resident . My wife is in India. I applied for my Divorce in N.J. 6 months ago. Now it would take 3- 6 months. My study will be completed in 2 months . Can i return to the U.S for the Divorce matter?

So long as you satisfied the residency requirements at the time you filed the divorce complaint or your spouse satisfies the residency in New Jersey requirement, you may leave New Jersey and return for the hearing of the matter.
