Getting Rid of Live In Boyfriend

My Sister wants her live in boyfriend of one year to leave her house. He is not on the Mortgage and does not pay rent. He refuses to leave. Can she make him leave or does she have to file some sort of action in court?

She should call the police department in her town and explain that her boyfriend has been living with her, not as a tenant but as a guest, and refuses to leave. Ask the police if they will instruct the boyfriend does not leave a trespassing complaint will be filed against him.
