To answer your question, yes.

Your rights are stronger if you have 'joint legal custody'.

If her mother could add you to the email list and/or the school mailing list without being taken off of those lists, then it probably makes sense for her to do (I do not know the details of your situation). Same with report card, she could make you aware of how your child is doing in school, probably without too much trouble.

You start with asking nicely. Then, you have your lawyer ask nicely. Finally, you go to Court and ask the Judge to order it, if she refuses.

Yes of course. File a motion with the court. This issue is rather minor so I doubt you need an attorney for this, but it'll never hurt to have one with you.
