Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

My roommate and his girlfriend share a room with his 3 year old daughter. They are now afraid that the mother of the child will have custody taken away if they sleep in the same room as the child. Is this true?

They have good reason to be worried about this.

I have heard many judges say that the guy can not even have his girlfriend sleeping in the same apartment when the guy has visitation with his child.

Your friend is in a much worse situation, having the child living with him and sleeping in the same room with him and his girlfriend. Can be big trouble.

I do this, assist people who have family law and divorce problems. He needs some good advice.

BTW, does the mother pay child support money to him? she should, not hard to get either.
