Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
separation
Wife moved 04/02/08, Has job. Charged all new furniture and new car on credit card and auto loan in her name only. 2?s Am I responsible for this dept? How can I stop her ? Went all through your file and didn't see this one. I have no lawyer.

You shouldn't be, but you could be if your case is not handled the right way. One of the problems with divorce law is that there are few black and white answers. Instead, there is a combination of what is the right thing to do and what somebody is willing to give up, fight over and settle for. 99% of cases settle, so the two of you can agree to almost anything really.
I see no reason for you to not have an attorney. I suggest you get one ASAP so you can file for a divorce. Once you file, just about evenything is frozen in time as far as the courts are concerned so you don't have to worry as much about these types of issues.
