Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

seperated from the wife

Good Afternoon,

My question is this. My wife is coming to our home to pick up her things. I have asked for a police escort just for saftey concerns. If my wife comes with lets say her sister or brother or whomever. Can I request that they meaning wmomever she brings not be allowed in the house. My wife and the police can come. Just not her guest. Do I have the legal recourse to deny them to enter the premises?

Re: seperated from the wife

If you feel that there is a safety issue then you are within your rights to request that the police be present and that only your wife and the police enter your house. Assuming that your wife is reasonable, you could discuss all of these issues before she comes to pick up her things so that the event will go as smoothly as possible.
