Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Shared Transportation

My husband is in the national guard, his unit is activated to active duty full time. He works 4 12-hour night shifts a week. The family court judge he used to have stated that the transportation between homes would be shared equally when my husband finished his degree and had a full time job. His ex wife is refusing. How common is shared transportation and do you think the new judge assigned would be likely to follow the former judges ruling? We live 3 hours away from his 3 children, he was the one that moved. Thanks

Re: Shared Transportation

If he is not there, then why is the visitation happening? If he has custody, then perhaps custody should be modified while daddy is on active duty.

A new FC judge may take a fresh look at the situation. Suggest you do the same. Key here is that he is the one who moved away.
