Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
Showing internet porn to a child
I found out last night from my son (he's 8) that his (step)grandfather has showed him pictures on the internet of naked teenaged girls. Also his dad's friend has a computer game that has women in bikinis and he was saying something about undressing them with a touch screen. Im not sure, he was telling my husband this and Im waiting for my husband to call from work to explain it exactly again. There is more to this story too. I dont know what to do. i have already been having issues with his father about things that have been going on at his house and now this. in addition is stepfather is a former police officer who also is 'connected'. I was going to do everything 'pro se' but i dont know what to do with this.

You need to hire an attorney to apply to the Court for emergent relief by way of order to show cause.
Call me if you like.

You should at least call an attorney in this situation. It is difficult to tell you what you should or shouldn't do with a paragraph of information. Calling DYFS/police is also a possiblity here, but I still wouldn't do anything without talking to an attorney.
