simple assault

my husband and i were arguing he i was laying on the bed he was over me yelling so i tried to get out of the way and scratched him with my ring my son called the cops on him but i was processes what will happen to me

It is just a matter of getting the prosecutor to dismiss the charge because of your explanation, but you need an attorney.

An assault conviction requires that he peove you intended to do this. If your husband does not want to prosecute, the Prosecutor will probably dismiss the complaint. Your best course of action is to have an attorney represent you. I would be happy to discuss this with you.
