Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

should he go

my sons father wont tell me where he moved. we have joint custody. he is to pick him up at the police station tonight and i am scared to give him up and him be bumped around from house to house for the week he has him. Can the police stop him from taking my son unless he gives or proves his new address. i have the landlord tenant notice showing he had vacated his current address.

You need to address this in Court with a Judge. The police have a duty to enforce the Judge's Order as written.

I doubt the police will get too involved, but you could ask. Sounds like you will have to file another motion.
