Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Not being able to take my other sons to Florida

I am in the process of taking my oldest son to Florida for college. My other 2 children wanted to come too. The weekend I was planning on falls on my ex-husband's weekend and he's refusing to let me take them. I believe in our divorce papers it says we must request vacation at least 30 days in advance if possible. I gave him 22 days notice, can he just say no? He's just angry with me and trying to hurt me and this is his latest fight with me. Is it worth it to file an emergent motion? The only reason I don't want to go the weekend before (my weekend), is because my son would be alone in an apartment a week before school starts.

I have so many problems with my ex, I wish there was someone who could help me.

The PSA is what it is. If you want to change it, you have to file a motion with the court. I suggest you talk to an attorney about all of your issues.

My initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss your case.

It seems a bit late to apply for emergent relief. Tomorrow is the last day of court before the Labor Day weekend. I assume that you son is supposed to be in school just after Labor Day. If I am wrong you might give me a call.

Call me if you like.
