Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
My soon to be ex spouse and I had a custody agreement from the court regarding what days and times he has our daughter. I have not dropped her off in awhile due to his pit bull attacking her. The dog would have done more damage, had he not been present to pull it off of her. I have photo's of her leg to prove it. I have asked him to get rid of the dog so we could continue the visitation times but he is not willing to do so. He is threatening me to stop paying child support and take me to court for violating the agreement. I am going to be filing a motion stating my reason as to why I have kept her away. What will the judge do once he hears this? Could I be in any kid of trouble for violating the agreement?
I really tried to avoid going to court over this and tried to handle it like civil adults but unfortunately we cannot do so.

Your response to the dog attack seems reasonable. I would just document the attack, with medical bills and records.
