Both spouses willing to take divorce, but they living in different states...phys
I have a question. Both the Indian spouses(having a 12 year daughter) are ready to get divorced. The basis for divorce is that
"they don't have any physical relationship for the last 15 months"
She lived in NJ until June 1999. From June 1999 she is living in Kansas till today with her own job.
He lived in NJ until June 2000. He supported his spouse till she got her job. He moved to Texas in June 2000.
Question(1): How fast they an get divorced ? Both are ready to get divorced.
Question(2): Is it possible for both to approach
divorce lawyer ? If yes, where ? (in KS or
in TX or in NJ or in NY)
Question(3): If only one appraches the lawyer and sends a notice to other, is it Okay ?
Question(4): How much will be the expenses if other spouse doesn't contest ?
Question(5): How long it takes ?

Sixty days in Texas from filing to decree if everything is agreed. One lawyer can do the work, but that lawyer may represent only one of the two spouses. One spouse can file for divorce, send notice to the other. For fees, please contact our office manager.
