Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

My stepson is covered under my medical insurance. My stepson's dad regularly pays child support. In the agreement between my wife and the birth father it states "The parties shall be equally responsible for any uncovered medical expenses." Would this cover the cost for braces?

In my opinion, it would. However, it would be up to a judge to decide, based on the context of the agreement, other monies being paid by the father and other factors that the Judge may deem relevant.
