Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Stop visitation

My ex has been driving like a crazy person this past week with my twin 10 year old girls in the car. I fear for their safety. He has legal visitation rights. Can i refuse to send them with him until i get a court date? Can something be done immediately to stop his visitation until then?

Re: Stop visitation

You should contact an attorney immediately. If you believe your children are in mortal danger, it may be appropriate to report the danger to the police or other authorities, and you may decide to file an application with the court to restrict or modify the visitation order.
