Student Marriage

Me and my girl friend both are on student visa (F1) and we woud like to get marry in this december. I would like to know that is it legal or not? what is the procedure?

I suppose I should've added that you'll first need to secure a valid marriage license from your local courthouse before you see the preacher.

What is the procedure to marry in ther U.S. for folks with nonimmigrant status, you ask? Go see a preacher, no special permission required from the USCIS to marry. (Of course, it would be prudent to remember that you must continue to maintain your F1 student visa status and not do anything because of your marriage that would cause you to fall out of such status.)
