Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Submitting False Evidence

Is there a penalty for a Plaintiff and/or thier counsell for submitting exhibits into evidence that are different than an exhibit given to a witness on the stand? Furthermore if a piece of evidence is meant to prove a certain coorespondence with an individual and the evidence is actually a coorespondence with another individual but is being portrayed as the coorespondence to the individual in question, is that legal?

Re: Submitting False Evidence

Perpetrating a fraud upon the court is a basis for a contempt of court charge, whether it is intentionally substituing evidence not presented during the trial or knowingly misrepresenting what a piece of evidence is.

Re: Submitting False Evidence

First you have to prove this is false evidence and then you have to prove they did it on purpose. I am sure you are angry but I doubt this is going anywhere.
