Support

I have a chronic illness that predated my marriage. I can no longer work and receive assistance. I am married 5 years and wonder if I would be able to collect spousal support. Thank you.

While your marriage is of short duration for alimony purposes, I do believe that I would be able to obtain "term" alimony on your behalf due to your disability. However, I need to learn more facts before drawing any definite conclusions.
