Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
taking child for vacation overseas
Hi. I want to take my child overseas to Ukraine where I am originally from to vacation and to meet my family. Does he father ( we are separated divorce is in the court) need by law to give me a notorized permission, because I already asked and he refused. I feel like a hostage, he says ''No'' to everything I ask when it comes to notorized documents. And she is only 20 moinths old, so now if I want to take her Paris, mexico- I won't be able to do so just because he won't givce me notorized permission?

Re: taking child for vacation overseas
What you need is a court order authorizing your trip with the child. All the judge will require is that you convince him that you will be returning to this country. With the court Order you can obtain a passport for the child.
Call me if you like.
