Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Taping conversations

We have a pending divorce and to protect myself, I have started taping our conversations my wife has a history of being verbally and physically abusive. She has taunted me on several occasions which I have caught on tape. Saying she would ruin my name and none of the physical abuse could be proved because I don't have any marks now and never reported it. First she did not know she was being taped, now she does. Is any of this addmissable in court?

Re: Taping conversations

I have read what Jef wrote, and he is correct, you can tape record your conversations with her. It should probably be admissible, I would think.
