Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
Temporary Restraining Order
I never laid hands on her just a huge argument at her house and i kept trying to call to apologize. We work together for 2 years and been together for 2 years. I have a lawyer now. She claims that after the court date they will slap on the order for two more years. Im 22 and she is 19 turning 20. Is that the likely scenario a temp restraining order turned into permanent for another two years.

Re: Temporary Restraining Order
Since you have a lawyer, I don't think that you should be on here asking questions. You must place all your faith and trust in your lawyer. If you can't or if you stop trusting your lawyer, its probably time to get a new one.
Your question is also a little confusing. A final ro is just that, final as in, till the end of time. If she wants to end it sooner or if you feel it should be ended at some point, either of you can petition the court. Absent that, it will last forever.
Re: Temporary Restraining Order
A temporary restraining order which becomes a permanent restraining order at a final hearing is exactly that, permanent. You should not go to the hearing unprepared to defend yourself
vigorously.
