Do I have to go to another state to take a paternity test for a woman claiming I fathered her child 10 years ago?

Not knowing the status of any legal action against you in New Jersey it is difficult to answer the question.

A sample for dna testing can be given in any state and sent to the testing lab.

Not really, but I suggest you see an attorney before you do anything. If you take the test and it turns out you are the father, you rights are rather limited. However, you could challenge the ability of the court to even order you to take the test.
