Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Hi. Thanks for your time!!! My question is that I want to file for a divorce. My husband and I got married in 2005 . Past year we having problems in our marriage. I want have kids and he doesn't. So I moved out from house last month.

I know that by the law I can file for a divorce after 6 month of separation...is there any exception? If I want start now? We have no children,no property,no morgege ...even no cars on same insurance. We split everything already. We agree on everything. Just want to get out from this marriage soon as possible. Is there any hope to start it now?

Thanks, Guranda

You can file for divorce after six months of irreconcilable differences or 18 months of separation.

You can file for divorce now, so long as you have resided in New Jersey for a year.
