Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

time

I am a soldier stationed in Germany, and I got married in July 2002, but my husband decided to stay in NJ. He says he is not coming over so I figure there's no point on staying married. Do I still have to wait 18 months from the date of marriage to file for divorce since there's ''no fault''?

We are both residents of NJ for the past years...but we got married in Texas. Can I get divorced in Texas?

How long do I have to wait after I got divorced to marry again if I choose to?

please send me an email with the answer

Thanks in advance

Re: time

So long as one of you maintains residence in New Jersey you can file here for divorce. You can file now based on his extremely cruel refusal to reside with you. You can remarry whenever the ink is dry on the divorce judgment. 800 273 7933.
