travel abroad with minors

Can my ex stop me from travelling abroad to Fiji with my 16 yr. old daughter? (the trip is booked thru a

reputable company and she already has

a valid passport).

This really depends on what was specified in the divorce settlement agreement.

Generally no, but this does creep up in situations where there is an allegation that one spouse may kidnap the children. Here it sounds like a vacation so I don't see any problem here.
