Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
unemployment reduction
I was laid off in November of 2002. My ex told me not to worry right now about the payments until I find a job. As soon as I found another job 2 months later she's herassing me about not paying for the past few months. I explained to her that I intended ( and have ) started to make up the two months that I owered her. I also stated that I would pay infull the amount I owed instead of going to court to have the payments reduced because of my unemployment.
Presently, My current wife is just about due with our first child, My ex wife makes double of what I make.
How can I find the forms to have my payments reduced?
And can she take me to court for the back payments even though I am trying to play catch up.
