Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

violation for in borough after dark

my daughter, 18, had court tonight for being in borough after dark-hightstown,nj. Ticket was sent in mail and time was 6:55 with violation code 10-3. at court the cop asked the time to be amended to 7:09 (park open til 1/2 hour after sunset which was 6:30 on 10/8) and the violation code was outdated, no longer an active code. the judge allowed the change and my daughter plead guilty out of not knowing what else to do. Is this normal for a cop to me able to change a time to benefit a ticket and to cite outdated violation codes? Does my daughter have any recourse at this point?

I can't imagine the fine was that much. I'm sure an attorney would cost more than she paid. I don't want to discourage you from going to an attorney, just want to let you know what to expect.
