Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Violation of Court Order?

My husband has court ordered visitations with my son. The court was told that his girlfriend has threatened me and my other son with bodily harm and my son is afraid of her. So, the court ordered that the girlfriend NOT BE PRESENT during my husband's visitations. Now, my son tells me that the girlfriend has been in attendance ''a few times'' since October. My son was afraid to tell me this. What actions should I take here? I am a mess when I appear in court but if that's my only recourse..............

Re: Violation of Court Order?

Maybe its time to get an attorney and let him or her speak for you. I don't see what else you can do except go back to court.

You can ask the Court to enforce the

Order and to caution the father about

retaliating against your child.

Call me if you like.
